The 2-Day Restoration Intensive is designed for one couple to work intensively with two counselors for an entire two days.  For some couples, the 2-Day Intensive can be used as a “last effort” to reconcile and restore their marriage, and for others it can be used as the perfect opportunity to sort through difficulties and develop a new, safe and intimate marriage.

The Benefits of the 2-Day Restoration Intensive 

• The multi-day format offers a safe, continuous environment for deep interaction.
• There are no time constraints each day as in weekly counseling formats.
• Couples are away from daily distractions.
• The work is done with two professional therapists who will help the couple dig deep and face the core difficulties in their marriage in an extremely personal way - in a safe environment.
• The couple is given new strategies and tools and given time to implement them with coaching before leaving.
• The COST – when averaged against long-term weekly counseling sessions, the 2-Day Intensive is more economical - the couple's work is uninterrupted and there is no wasted time getting reaquainted with the therapist at every session. 

The 2-Day Restoration Intensive Includes: 

• Up to 16 hours of personal and marital therapy work with Dr. John Michael and a highly trained co-therapist.
• Lodging for two nights and two days at a comfortable resort/hotel (not including room incidentals incurred by couple; check for alternative arrangements).
• Breakfast and lunch for two days (arranged or provided by Lifetime Marriage).
• Snacks and drinks during sessions.
• Follow-up sessions at a reduced hourly rate.

Requirements for Applying for the 2-Day Restoration Intensive:

• Both spouses need to be willing to commit to renewing their marriage
• Spouses must be open to looking at personal and marriage issues, and trusting the therapists to create safety in the process.
• The couple needs to commit to attending the entire program and paying the full balance for the intensive at the start of the first day of work.
